Hey, Strangers!

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone has been enjoying this transition from Summer to Fall. I've had my ups and down with it. I'm not excited for the upcoming cold temperatures but I LOVE the holidays! Where have I been? Everywhere! Let me catch you up..

In July I finished up my softball season! My county league team went undefeated and my travel team competed and won in various tournaments. Yes, I am absolutely in love with softball.
August! As my summer dwindled to an end I spent more and more time with my soccer team as we began our season. I have a strong bond with those girls and they are nothing short of family to me!
Here is my team after we competed in our annual "Kick for the Cure" game in September. (the date on the photo is incorrect. lol.) We raised a lot of money through t-shirt sales and survivor bracelets, which became very popular at my school. All the funds we raised went to Hope Rager who is standing in the middle of us and the "I Wear Pink For Hope" campaign. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans graciously doubled all the money we raised. It was a wonderful experience to touch her life as we did.

Speaking of September, my county fair came and went, fast, as usual to end my summer as wonderful as possible. As I may not have stated before, yes, I'm a farm girl. lol. My family has raised beef cattle for a few generations and living in the small rural area that I do, it's not uncommon. Our county fair is a big deal and countless memories are made there. A good majority of the farming kids in the area stay in campers on the fairgrounds and we basically live with each other a whole week. I won Grand Champion Dairy Feeder, and for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a young boy cow who will eventually be turned into a hamburger. I sold him in the sale and got quite a bit of money that will go toward my car, since I turn 16 in April. This is a picture of me and my friend Maggie with our Grand/Reserve trophies and banners.
Along with September and the school year came football homecoming. Me and my bestfriend Paige were each others' dates this time around and we had tons of fun with our student body. This picture is of me (middle), Paige (left) and Siera (right).
Onto October! This month really flew by for me. As football season was wrapping up we were trying to find new things to do on the weekends. Me and my best friends attended almost every game. We had tons of fun supporting our boys of fall! On that note my soccer team ended our season well, but not exactly how we wanted it to end. I grew really close to a senior, Clare, and we shared ALOT of emotions together after our last game. During our last game I received my first real injury. In the second half me and an another girl tumbled and I dislocated and fractured my knee cap. I continued to play on it and we didn't know it was really fractured till the next day at the chiropractor. I wasn't about to stand on the sidelines. Fortunately, I didn't need crutches but I have to wear a brace every day to stabilize my kneecap. Halloween came and went as well. I was a Greek Goddess  My bestfriend Paige got her wisdom teeth out right before Halloween and wasn't able to participate, but I went and visited her!
Here we are in November. We're more then half way through and i'm really not sure where this time is going! Thanksgiving is coming up and so is basketball season. I really can't wait. A lot of more fun to come, and I'll do my best to keep you updated. :)
